The Holiday Programme for the Youth Centre is now available at the Youth Centre and through the Youth Centre link on this website. The Youth Centre is open every weekday from 12pm - 4pm. These are extended opening hours including thursday which has previously been closed. Activities include movie days, Masterchef, art and craft, ance classes and 2 touch soccer. All activities are free of charge. We also have a planned excursion to Laser Tag in Gosford. (small fee for excursion).

A big congratulations to all the young people and parents who attended the Presentation Night on Monday 27th June. The girls dance performance and The Music programme participants played a great set. Presentations on the night were awarded to young people who had participated in the Intro to Cafe skills, Dodge ball, Music, Girls Only, Fun-da-mental and Touch Footy programmes. The touch footy winners received their prizes and their names on the perennial trophy.

Several new regular venue users have all started using the building throughout this busy Month.

Kincumber High School are now much more regular users of the building and now operate fortnightly year assemblies in which Sen. Con. Denise Lynch presents to the year group on youth issues.

This month also has seen the start of Job Centre Australia’s Youth 2 Work Programme, supporting young people with their transition from school to work. This month also sees the introduction of a dance and physical culture group operating two evenings a week.

The centre finally has the number of regular visitors such a great building should have.
